About the Vaughan Memorial Library

The Library is a very popular destination on campus.

Our main floor is a hub of activity! Unlike the libraries of old, we're more concerned that you find what you need, meet who you need to meet, get help when you need it and be comfortable here! You can bring snacks and drinks too! Not wine or beers of course, but juice, water and whatever else your preference!

On the main floor you'll find group study rooms, the writing center, the reference desk, printers, public internet access, wireless internet, vibrant ever-changing displays, washrooms and much more.

Although the main floor is busy and active, we do have many places in the library where you can study in peace and quiet.

Did we mention, we offer the longest open hours of any university library in Canada!
