Established in 1941 as the Household Economics Library Endowment Fund and renamed several years later. Dr. McNally was the first director of what is now the School of Nutrition, and received an honorary degree from Acadia in 1943. After her death in 1945, former graduates contributed to this fund in her memory and the name was changed accordingly.
