Printing & Scanning
The library has two printers for student use only and two scanners/photocopiers that are available for use by both students and the general public. You must be logged into the Acadia Network to access the student printers.
How do I set up my computer to print?
Before you can print, your computer will need to be set up and connected to our printers. Please go to the Printing/Scanning section of the Technology Services HUB Knowledge Base for instructions and further information.
Can I print if I don't have a laptop with me?
No problem. There are six computers located behind the Reference Collection on the Main Floor that are not only set up to print, but also have course-related software installed such as SPSS. These computers are for student use only and require Acadia log-ins to access.
How do I view my print jobs?
Using your Acadia email and password, log in to the PaperCut portal. Your printing will appear as a negative number within the balance. After each transfer to your student account, this balance will be reset to zero.
How do I pay for printing?
Student printing is automatically charged to your Student Account at the end of each month. Information regarding PaperCut and your Axe Cash balance can be found in this Technology Services HUB article.
How do I scan or photocopy?
The scanners and photocopiers are located near the main entrance and the Access Services Desk. Just ask a staff member at the Access Desk and they will provide you with a copy card and help you with the machines.
