For over one hundred and sixty years Acadia, Wolfville, and the surrounding area have shared athletic facilities. Gymnasiums, tennis courts, outdoor tracks, baseball diamonds, rugby and soccer fields, ponds for skating and hockey, later rinks, the Acadia swimming pool…all have been open and enjoyed by generations of Acadia students and townspeople alike. The university and town have worked together to enhance these facilities and provide recreation for all.
