Library Services during COVID-19

This guide includes information regarding off-campus access to resources, due dates and fines, interlibrary loans, research assistance, and tips for faculty.

Delivery of Physical Materials During Campus Closure

During the current campus closure, Acadia Library items can be sent out to all faculty, staff, and students by mail and a postage paid return label will be included. It is also possible for library staff to scan and email book chapters and journal articles in accordance with Canadian copyright legislation.

We are also offering contact-less pick-up of circulating materials: Borrowers can request items by sending an e-mail to access-circ@acadiau.ca with their 10-digit Acadia ID number (or their 14-digit barcode) and the item information (title, author, call #). Requested materials will be available for pick-up on the next business day between 9am and 3pm.

These services are free and are subject to staff availability and access to the building. Contact access-circ@acadiau.ca to place your request or visit the library policies for more information.
