This photo of the faculty softball team of 1944 features a number of well known Wolfville men who also had a connection with the university. Avery deWitt was a 1904 Acadia graduate and athlete, a town physician and the university physician. Fred Kelly was a long-time coach and from 1940, Athletic Director.
