Horton Takes Diamond Crown

Baseball was not an intercollegiate sport in 1914, but it did feature in the spring interclass sports competitions. The Horton Academy baseball team won the interclass championship in the spring of 1914. They beat the Freshmen 5-2, the Engineers 8-3 and the combined Senior-Sophomore team 11-3. The Juniors forfeited their game with Horton; they were unable to field a team.
