Horton Tops Truro "Y" 40-6
While the Horton basketball team won only one of four games in the Acadia interclass league, they beat the Truro YMCA twice, 21 to 15 and 40 to 6. Of the latter game, the Athenaeum remarked: “...a return game was played with Truro YMCA. At the end of the hour the score stood 40 - 6 in favor of the Cads. The game was rather one sided, and on this account not very exciting.” In that game, Porter made nine baskets and McKay made six.
