Acadia Captures King Richardson

Although only a third of Acadia’s football team that had gone undefeated during the 1912 season returned, the 1913 team beat the Halifax Wanderers 6-5, King’s College (NS) 9-0 and 27-0, the University of New Brunswick 8-5 and Mt Allison University (NB) 10-0. With these victories, Acadia had won the league title five times and thus were awarded permanent possession of the King-Richardson Trophy.
