Horton Swamps High School

The November 11, 1937 Wolfville Acadian reported that the Horton Academy team “swamped Wolfville High” 21 to 0 in a match-up between home-town rivals. Earlier, Horton had defeated Windsor 9-0 in a Valley League game. In that game, halfback Ernie Black, “highest scorer in the Valley League and a slippery player, very hard to tackle,” made all three tries for Horton.
