Team Work Leads to Wins

“Acadia...has good reason to be proud of the foot-ball team of ‘99” which played games against a Truro, Nova Scotia town team, Mt Allison University (NB) and Dalhousie University (NS). Of the final game, against Dalhousie, the December 1899 Athenaeum reported: “Every man on Acadia’s team played his game in a most credible manner though especial mention may be made of the strong playing of Huntley, Wright, Richardson, Crandall and Duval....The Dalhousie men handled themselves in fine form, and put up a gentlemanly and credible game.”
