Engineers Sink Opponents

Water polo was an interclass sport rather than an intercollegiate sport. During the 1926-27 academic year, the Engineers won the interclass water polo competition. “A new line of sport is coming to the fore with the introduction of water polo. Thus far the Engineers wear the seaweed wreath, taking two games from the entire Arts and Science aggregation. Plans are now being made for a tussle with either Dalhousie or [the] Halifax ‘Y’.” (Acadia Athenaeum 1927)
