A Team of Stars
The Wolfville High School basketball team had some outstanding athletes among its members. Several, including Tedford, Sanford and Porter went on to star in sport at Acadia University. Neil Sanford and Arnold Tedford were active in town-based sport, even as school students while Sanford was active throughout the 1930s in town-based sport, including baseball, hockey and tennis. Porter became a teacher at his old school after graduation and served as basketball coach for the team he once played on.
